Did You Know? Popular Culture: In 2010, a group of University of Michigan students began blogging about their quest to win at McDonald's Monopoly in a blog called McDonaldopoly. They have been tracking stats and aim to determine the most profitable items, while testing McDonald's claims that "1 in 4 wins" on a large sample size. They are further investigating the odds breakdown on various items to determine if higher cost items have a greater chance of winning. They have been eating McDonalds multiple times per day since the promotion began. The students plan to perform a Six Sigma analysis once more data is collected.
